LIVING HOPE MINISTRIES
Ministry Plan Living Hope Lutheran Church is the process of developing a new MINISTRY PLAN which outlines goals for our future ministry in Stafford County, VA. It includes the revised Mission and Vision Statements, a Values Statement, the Critical Targets for the next three years and the Ministry Goals for those same three years. The Voters Assembly will be asked to adopt the plan at our Annual Meeting the first Sunday in December.
Outreach Ministry Living Hope strives to reach those in our community who are in need of the love of Jesus Christ. We have recently developed an Outreach Ministry Team in order to put forth Living Hope Lutheran Church as a place where people are welcome and appreciated. Members of Living Hope recently distributed free water to soccer families at Willowmere Park and we also handed out batteries at the Stafford commuter lots. We reminded residents to change their smoke alarm batteries and also that they can be "re-energized" with Christ is their life. See photos of "Living Water" outreach event. Senior Youth Ministry In addition to the youth class offered on Sunday mornings, Living Hope has a very active senior youth group for grades 9-12. Events this past year included a team-building adventure day, a Stafford "clean-up" servant event, laser tag, and a 30-hour Famine service project. Middle School Youth Group Ministry Ministry Middle school students meet every other month for Creative Discussion Nights at rotating homes.
